Keith Servis joined Capital Health Consulting in February 2021 as a Senior Advisor and brings over 36 years of government leadership experience to the CHC team.

In his most recent position, Keith served as Deputy Commissioner of the NYS Department of Health’s Office of Primary Care and Health Systems Management (OPCHSM), leading the organization’s initiatives, policies, and programs to ensure access to high-quality care and services and support a strong, stable delivery system in New York State.During his six years in OPCHSM executive leadership, Keith  led health system provider policy, licensing, and oversight, and provided guidance and direction on policies and programs critical to access, quality, and efficiency.  Prior to becoming OPCHSM Deputy Commissioner, Keith served for 12 years as Director of the Office of Professional Medical Conduct.

Keith’s experience spans almost every aspect of healthcare, including system strategic planning and policy, long-term care, hospital services, community-based clinics and home care, finance and reimbursement, pre-hospital and emergency services, workforce development and training, emergency preparedness and response, quality and compliance, narcotic enforcement, and graduate medical education. He has written and negotiated policy, regulation, and legislation, assisted numerous providers and systems in developing and implementing transformation plans, developed and administered grant programs, and served as a key advisor to numerous Commissioners of Health.
